Stop Motion - Practice

Today me and my class mate were doing  stop motion me and Laviniah we did a volcano we all had two pieces of play dough.  The thing that I found easy was taking the photos. The thing that I found hard was putting it all together.
   

My Speech Critique

Yesterday my class had to present their speeches.  Since I was away, I decided to video myself outside.  I chose to talk about how we all need to play our part and stop polluting the Earth.  I made sure that I had a clear voice.  I was meant to use expression but when you're focusing on reading you just forget, which is what I did.  There was a little bit in there, but not as much as I wanted.

The most challenging part would have conquering my nerves if I was speaking in front of my class, but thankfully as you will see I didn't have to do that.  I hope my words make my peers think about the importance of looking after the environment because that is the whole point of writing a persuasive text - convincing others to agree with what you have to say.

my coding challenge

Title my coding challenge Hour of Code or Learning to Code OR your own ideaWe have been learning to code.  The coding I chose was minecraftI enjoyed stage 7 It was challenging when i was on stage 10I helped others by telling them what tool you have to useI needed help with stage 11It took me 34 min to finish the 12 stages.  When I finished the 12 stages I got a certificate.  I took screenshots as I worked my way through the stages.

Today I learnt to code using Scratch Jnr.  I had to give 3 characters code to get them to race across the paddock.  Here are some of my photos, you can see the code down the bottom.  The green flag made it go, the orange man was the speed, the blue arrow to make it go forward and the red one was to make it stop.  I also coded the sun going down and the moon going up.  The bottom picture is driving the car across the city.
